Die erste deutsche Nachdichtung der Geschichte vom Soldaten stammt von Hans Reinhart, der die Uraufführung des Werkes am 28. September bzw. nach Strawinskys Erinnerungen am 29. September 1918 im Théâtre Municipal de Lausanne unter der Leitung von Ernest Ansermet ermöglichte und dem dieses Werk auch gewidmet ist. - Unklar ist, ob die deutsche Version zur Aufführung kam.</mods:note>
